A classic vest from T.T. Based on a knit vest made in the United States in the 1930s. The varsity letterman vest originated in 1865 when students at Harvard University in the United States wore thick gray flannel team pullovers with a large letter H sewn on, as members of the baseball team. The practice of sewing symbolic letters onto clothing to indicate membership in a team became established, and soon clubs at universities across the country began to adopt the same practice. The knit vest was worn as a variation of the letter sweater. It is finished in a soft touch with a cashmere-blend wool.
