This product is a reproduction of a jacket brought back to the US by a soldier stationed at the American military base in PLEIKU, Vietnam in the mid-1960s. The embroidery features a tiger on the right chest, the character '福' (meaning 'fortune') on the left chest, dragons on both sleeves, and a map of Vietnam on the back, representing a classic design of the Vietnamese jacket. Unlike many vintage Vietnamese jackets that feature rough embroidery, this version boasts high-density and superior quality embroidery. Vintage-style buttons resembling old coins are used at the cuffs. Available in black, it also comes in a rare off-white fabric, which is less common.
