A souvenir vest custom-ordered by American soldiers stationed in Pleiku, Vietnam, in the late 1960s. This model features no embroidery on the front, with embroidered details only on the back. While the typical embroidery on a Viet jacket uses thick matte color threads, this piece is exceptionally rare with its shiny rayon thread chain embroidery. Some areas show wear in the embroidery, reflecting the vintage style it is based on.

VIETNAM JACKET

This souvenir jacket, commonly known as a Hato-chan, originated during the Vietnam War from the 1960s to 1970s, much like the Sukajan that emerged in post-war Japan. It is primarily made from cotton twill or camouflage patterned Honcho liner fabrics, with designs embroidered in thick matte color threads.

Due to the characteristics of the materials and finishing methods, there may be slight variations in dimensions. Additionally, the color of the product may slightly differ from the actual color depending on your device settings and environment. Please understand this in advance.
