This denim blouse, born out of material shortages during World War II, features a streamlined design without the previously included pocket flaps and a reduced number of front buttons from five to four.

The phrase "FOR THE DURATION" on the flasher signifies the period of the war, indicating the specification changes made due to material control until the war's end. In the 1940s, the U.S. government awarded an Excellent (E) pennant to companies producing high-quality military supplies. Buzz Rickson's, known for their flight jackets, received this prestigious E pennant during the war, reflected in this unique flasher.

Material: Vegetable-tanned deer skin label.
Buttons: Iron donut buttons with a vine pattern.
Pleating: Pleat stitching on the left side has the starting and ending stitches facing up, while the right side has them facing down.
Pocket Stitching: Handmade look with visible selvedge on the facing side.
Movement: Pleats provide enhanced mobility.
Stitching: Handmade styling with unique rivet placements.
Cuffs: Vertical grain used for a different look when worn.
