The Goldwin down jacket combines advanced technology and attention to detail honed through the brand's experience in ski wear, all within a minimal design that fits urban styles. The jacket features a luxurious wool blend fabric that offers a subtle luster characteristic of wool. The two-layer fabric provides excellent wind resistance, and the water-repellent properties ensure protection against light rain. The lining is made of Pertex Quantum, an extremely lightweight and durable material that ensures a smooth feel and comfortable wear. Inside, high-quality 900 fill power goose down is encased, balancing loftiness and heat retention, utilizing CLEANDOWN technology that enhances the down's natural features through advanced cleaning methods. A notable feature is the uniquely designed baffled structure, which enhances loft by bringing each partition that separates the down closer to a cube shape, resulting in improved insulation when compared with the same amount of down. Moreover, wearing this jacket allows it to closely fit the body, reducing cold spots and further enhancing warmth. This '3D BOX BAFFLE' is applied to the back of the body. The front utilizes an Excella zipper known for its high operability and elegant luster. The hem's adjuster system, the Cohesive Stopper, incorporates technology and specifications used in Goldwin's ski wear. Ribbed cuffs on the inside help to reduce wind intrusion. CLEAN DOWN
It uses raw down cleaned and processed by Kawada Feather, a down manufacturer headquartered in Meiwa Town, Mie Prefecture. The down is thoroughly cleaned without damaging it, using soft water from the area and a dry climate that makes the down's feathers easy to open, removing dirt and dust. The cleaned down has excellent loftiness compared to the unwashed version and increases its insulating power. The clean down wraps the body more warmly.
