In William Gibson's renowned novel 'Pattern Recognition', the protagonist wears a 'Buzz Rickson’s Black MA-1', which inspired its actual creation. Although the official color designated for the MA-1 jacket in the U.S. Air Force during the 1950s was Sage Green, this genuine BLACK MA-1 jacket is made with military-spec components and materials in black, making it a unique item in the market.
