Original material with 40 times the waterproofness of an umbrella
UNBY-TEX, which has high waterproofness and durability, is an original material born from 25 years of the designer's career.
It features a 3-layer structure bonded with CORDURA POLYESTER 305d fabric, a special film L-Vent, and tricot nylon on the bottom layer, achieving water pressure resistance of over 20,000mm.
In comparison, typical umbrellas have a water pressure resistance of less than 500mm, making this more than 40 times the specification. It is also characterized by being strong against scratches and lightweight compared to coating waterproof materials.
The sewn parts on the front are pressed with seam tape on the back side to prevent water from seeping in through the seams.
PC storage essential for town use
PC and tablet storage is arranged on the back side.
The main storage features a PC pocket with a brushed interior. It can accommodate devices up to 13 inches.
Carefully selected parts
Waterproof zippers are used for zippers that pose a risk of water ingress. Synthetic rubber is combined in the bottom sections, making it resistant to moisture and also a design point.
Comfortable and stable wearing feel
The back and harness areas, which affect the carrying comfort, use thick cushioning material.
Additionally, the inside that contacts the clothing uses a material that is smooth and has low friction, often used in wetsuits, reducing damage to clothing.
It is also equipped with a removable chest strap and stabilizer strap on the upper part of the harness, allowing you to adjust the fit as desired.
STAFF COMMENT
Despite its appearance, it has a large capacity, allowing you to pack for two nights! (It depends on the contents, of course.) It can also be used as a shoulder bag with the attached belt!
