Mid 1950s / Typewriter Cotton / Discharge Print
A unique artistic depiction of owls and hawks creates a whimsical atmosphere reminiscent of fairy tale illustrations. This design was commissioned by a New York manufacturer in 1955 from a contemporary textile designer. Set against a night backdrop, the owls are printed on branches that fade into the darkness of the ground. The color palette includes a vintage blue, gradient browns of similar tones, and vibrant contrasting greens.

This elusive brand existed in 1950s America and was known only to vintage enthusiasts until a few years ago. The brand remains shrouded in mystery, with its full story still uncovered; however, it is characterized by unforgettable designs that make a strong impression.
