About Greybird & Co

Greybird & Co brings clothing, accessories, and everyday goods from Japan to customers across the United States.

We're Rex and Tao, the founders. We started GreyBird out of a shared love of Japanese culture and an appreciation for well-made things. We wanted more of the products we admired in Japan to be accessible here.

As customers, we kept running into the same problem. Many products were difficult to buy in the US, and when we did find them online, we weren't always sure whom to trust. Finding something we wanted was only the beginning; figuring out where to buy it could take just as much effort.

That experience led us to create GreyBird: a store we would feel comfortable shopping from ourselves.

Based in Tokyo and San Francisco, we source products in Japan and ship directly to US customers. Our selection includes Japanese labels and releases that are hard to find in American stores. It reflects the interest that brought us together and the goods we wanted to make more accessible.

We also want you to understand how ordering works before you buy. Our shipping policy explains processing and delivery times, and we cover applicable import duties and taxes. Please review our return policy, too, particularly if you're ordering from us for the first time.
