The bold pattern, depicted as if it has a horizontal pattern, features the famous tourist spot in Nikko, “Toshogu Shrine - Yomeimon.” Established in 1617, it is a shrine dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, a national treasure and World Cultural Heritage site. The Yomeimon is intricately depicted, surrounded by colorful autumn foliage, with the design reflecting symmetrically from the center. This piece is from the late 1940s produced by Musashiya Shoten Limited, which started in 1934 when Junichi Fujii acquired the business rights from the original owner, Koichiro Miyamoto.
