Inspired by the slip-on sneakers worn by beach boys in Hawaii during the same era as vintage aloha shirts, these sneakers feature designs from 1940-1950s vintage aloha shirts printed on cotton twill fabric. Crafted with care by skilled artisans who have been making sneakers in Japan for years, the soles are attached using a vulcanization method. This shoe showcases the dedication to textile design and traditional craftsmanship unique to Sun Surf.

Vulcanization Method: This sneaker production technique, invented in the United States in 1839, involves mixing sulfur with rubber and applying heat and pressure over time in a chamber to achieve both adhesion and molding through a chemical reaction. The result is a strong bond between the sole and upper, with a rubber component that is flexible and durable.

Each pair is delivered in a special box.

Please note that due to the cutting position of the fabric, the pattern arrangement may differ from the photos. There may also be slight variations in dimensions due to the characteristics of the material and finishing methods. Additionally, the color of the product may differ somewhat from the actual color depending on your device settings and environment, so please understand in advance.
