This denim fabric has been updated from 14oz to 13.2oz, making it thinner and lighter, perfect for summer wear. The silhouette is straight, and it is made from 100% cotton. It features a selvage with a blue selvedge instead of the typical red. This pair is ideal for creating the perfect coordination for those who wear mostly navy clothing. The warp yarns are a blend of 7th count open-end spun straight yarn and 8th count ring-spun slub yarns, and the weft yarn is 8th count slub yarn. It is woven with an old shuttle loom. The fabric's surface has texture, which enhances its character with each wash.

It is a design with a low rise intended for a so-called hip-hugging style, but the overall wide silhouette doesn't feel old-fashioned.
The processing is also modest, and I don't feel any unpleasantness from the used finish.
I thought size L was just right for me, but I'm glad I went with the slightly larger size XL.
It is moderately loose and easy to wear.
