Founded in 1893 in Chicago, Illinois, Sears, Roebuck & Co. launched the brand “HOALOHA” for selling Aloha shirts in Hawaii. This unique design features vibrant tropical fish and other marine life depicted in a whimsical style. By the 1950s, they established a store in Waikiki and achieved great success alongside local Hawaiian Aloha shirt brands.
