A natural-dyed version of a pleated jacket inspired by items from a rustic house brand of a long ago era.

All pockets are designed to be large for easy storage and portability of various small items.

The tack buttons are unpainted iron, and the rivets are copper-plated iron. Both materials will gradually rust over time, developing a unique texture and appearance.

*KAKISHIBU is presented as a color sample with a different product.

Each garment has been hand-dyed one by one by skilled artisans at a dyeing factory in Kyoto. With repeated wear, you can enjoy a unique aging process.

Fabrics

MATERIAL: COTTON 100%

This is a unique selvedge denim crafted slowly and carefully on an old-fashioned power loom (shuttle loom) at a historic factory in Okayama Prefecture.
This denim has not undergone any finishing processes, including washing or anti-shrink treatment, after weaving.
Due to the use of old-type looms, production efficiency is very low, allowing only a few meters to be woven per hour.
However, this meticulous method avoids applying excessive tension to the warp threads, resulting in a fabric with a unique texture that combines crispness and fullness.
Selected cotton is used, with careful consideration of fiber quality and length. Furthermore, attention to detail has been given to the number of twists and shapes to achieve a crisp touch.
