Tailor Toyo has been creating Sukajan since the days of its predecessor 'Minato Shō' and past products are now valued as 'vintage'. This piece responds to numerous requests from customers and revives the Sukajan crafted by Tailor Toyo in the 1990s using current techniques for the first time in about 30 years. The eagle embroidery depicted in a stunning orange gradient stands out against the wine-colored body, and the multicolored ribbed trims enhance the overall balance.
The reversible side features a 'reverse color' body in a darker silver and navy under the sleeves, showcasing a fierce blue tiger. Utilizing the glossy characteristics of rayon thread, the embroidery creates depth and shading with complex needlework to express the tiger's fur and stripes in a single color. Similar to the outer side, the colorful ribbed trims in four colors serve as an accent.

This reversible type of souvenir jacket is made with acetate fabric, which is the most standard among souvenir jackets. The Sukajan of the post-war era used acetate, a material categorized outside of resource control items that has a luxurious feel similar to silk. With no padding, it can be worn across seasons, and its unique drape is an appealing feature.
