Studied the silhouette and characteristics of 1930s denim trousers and newly designed them.
The deeper rise, waist, and straight silhouette from the thigh to the hem, intended to be worn with suspenders, preserves the ruggedness of the time while fine-tuning the dimensions for greater movement. Additionally, it enhances restoration with black lacquer buttons and copper rivets that were used in light ounce denim at the time.
As for the fabric, an original denim fabric was developed by analyzing the denim fabric of the time. This fabric uses green cast indigo-dyed warp yarns and off-white weft yarns proposed by Hashi, adjusting the count while maintaining the color tone and increasing the number of picks to create a rich texture that differs from the classic left-hand twill denim with a 1/2 right-hand twill structure.

The processing refers to vintage denim pants from the 1930s and expresses a fade that assumes the usage environment of the time. Taking into account the background where light ounce denim and relatively fast-fading dyes were used, the characteristic expression of color fading in linear patterns is recreated in areas prone to friction from wearing. The clearly contrasting colors tell the story of the practicality and era unique to workwear of that time.
