Designed to be worn as a set with the 716 Damaged Coverall Jacket With Chinstrap, based on painter pants from the 1920s to 1930s.
The stitching has been changed to a double needle, and the sewing tension has been adjusted to create a unified look. Additionally, hammer pockets have been removed to enhance the beautiful wide silhouette.
The fabric is made from an original denim fabric newly developed after analyzing the denim fabric of the time. This fabric uses green-cast indigo-dyed warp yarn and off-white weft yarn conceived by Takahashi, adjusting the thread count while maintaining the color tone, and increasing the number of picks to offer a rich expression different from the classic left-hand twill denim with its 1/2 right-hand twill structure. Inspired by vintage pieces from the 1930s in the collection, it has been finished with realistic damage processing that replicates the soil and oil stains characteristic of workwear. The stamped buttons and buckles are made from iron material and are original, produced from molds. Since unplated materials are used, they will rust over time, allowing for enjoyment of the aging process.
