Designed to be worn as a set with the Lot. 716 Damaged Coverall Jacket With Chinstrap, based on painter pants from the 1920s to 1930s.
The stitching has been changed to a double needle and the sewing was adjusted to create a sense of unity. Moreover, in order to beautifully showcase the wide silhouette, hammer pockets have been removed.
Regarding the fabric, an analysis of denim fabrics from that era led to the use of newly developed original denim. It uses a green cast indigo-dyed warp yarn conceived by Taiga Takahashi and an off-white weft yarn, maintaining the color while adjusting the count and increasing the number of picks, resulting in a rich expression with a deep density, contrasting with the classic left twill denim through a 1/2 right twill structure. Taking inspiration from 1930s vintage pieces in the collection, the unique dirt and oil stains typical of workwear have been realized with realistic damage processing. The engraved buttons and buckle are original, made from iron material. Since untreated ones are used, they rust over time, allowing for enjoyment of the aging process.
