The item is a reconstruction of Lot.606 Hooded Shirt, T.T's attempt to reinterpret the so-called "Retrofit hoodie". Elbow patch details are added to style as vintage clothing often found with repair patches.
During times of material scarcity, things – including clothes – were treated as valuable resources. Users often reinforced worn-out elbows with leftover fabric they had on hand. Workers owned multiple denim items and frequently repurposed damaged, unwearable denim as patch material for reinforcement.
The tubular jersey cotton was manufactured by a hanging knitting machine in Wakayama.Rongalite finish achieves a natural fade of a used garment.
