A sweatshirt born from the origins of American sportswear before the widespread use of synthetic materials in the 1950s. It has been reconstructed with details like elbow patches that replicate the repairs often seen in vintage clothing.
During a time of resource scarcity, everything was used carefully, and clothing was naturally considered one of those resources. When elbows became thin before wearing out, it was common to reinforce them with leftover fabric from the owner. Workers who owned a lot of denim often used partially torn denim as reinforcement fabric.
Similar to the Lot.601 Tee Shirt, it features direct cutting with a flat shape. The background of craftsmanship, including details like the V gusset at the neckline, which are now forgotten in modern times, can be understood through this reconstruction.
The tubular brushed fabric is made using a吊り編み機 in Wakayama. It has been processed with Longaritt finish to create a used look as if it has faded with age.
