This sweatshirt was inspired by the origins of American sportswear from before the widespread use of synthetic materials, specifically from the 1950s. Like the Lot.601 Tee Shirt, it features a flat shape created through direct cutting.

Modern practices have omitted details such as the V-gusset at the neckline, which was originally included to stop sweat, due to cost reduction and technological improvements. These details reveal the social and manufacturing background of the time. The round-body fleece fabric is made using a rare looping knitting machine that arrived in Japan during the Taisho era and is now solely operational in Wakayama Prefecture. Because it can only knit one meter per hour, it is very inefficient, but this slow process results in a fabric with a unique texture that seems to have air woven into it, giving a subtle irregularity. Furthermore, using USA cotton creates a distinct texture with a dry feel. The charcoal and beige are finished with garment dyeing, which gives natural variations in color at the seams and the fabric's surface. Combined with the unique irregularities of the looping knitting, it results in a single color that conveys a sense of fluctuation in expression.
