This sweatshirt was inspired by the origins of American sportswear before the widespread use of synthetic materials, dating back to the 1950s. Like the Lot.601 Tee Shirt, it features a flat shape created by direct cutting.

In modern times, there are details like the V-gusset on the inside and outside of the neckline, known as a sweat guard, which have been omitted due to cost reduction and technological advancements, providing insights into the social and manufacturing background of the time. The丸胴 (circular knitted) terry cloth is made using the existing吊り編み機 (hanging knitting machine). This knitting machine, which arrived in Japan during the Taisho era, is currently operational only in Wakayama Prefecture, making it the only one in the world. It can only knit one meter per hour, which is very inefficient, but by taking time, it results in fabric with a moderate irregularity, as if air is blended into the yarn. Furthermore, by using USA cotton for the material, a unique texture that also has a dry feel is achieved. YAKUSUGI, SAKURA, MUD DYED BROWN, and SUMI are all carefully dyed one by one by hand, and there is not a single one that is the same, making each piece uniquely attractive.
