A sweatshirt inspired by the origins of American sportswear from before the 1950s, before artificial materials became widely adopted. Like the Lot.601 Tee Shirt, it features a flat shape created by direct cutting.

In modern times, details such as the V-gussets placed at the neckline, which serve as sweat stoppers and were omitted due to cost reduction and technological improvements, reveal the social and manufacturing background of the time. The tubular loopback fabric is created using existing loop knitting machines. The loop knitting machines that arrived in Japan during the Taisho era are now operational only in Wakayama Prefecture, making them unique in the world. Although they can only knit one meter per hour, making them very inefficient, this slow process results in fabric that feels as if air has been knitted in, giving it a pleasantly varied texture. Furthermore, by using USA cotton as the material, a unique texture that also possesses a dry feel has been achieved. YAKUSUGI, SAKURA, MUD DYED BROWN, and SUMI are all carefully dyed one by one by hand, creating an irreplaceable, one-of-a-kind expression where no two are the same.
