This brown jumper is inspired by the denim pullover origins of the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) and designed as a pullover type of Lot. 718.
It is a rare product that has seen almost no design changes for about 30 years amid the tumultuous backdrop of wars and the Great Depression.
It is believed that the brown dye used at the time was logwood due to the lack of indigo and chemical dyes during World War I.
Based on this historical background, we carefully applied garment dyeing using Yakusugi (Japanese cedar) and mud, with each piece meticulously crafted.
Yakusugi is an extremely rare resource that is now prohibited from logging, and serves as a special dye that encapsulates over 1000 years of history.
Similar to mud dyeing, everything is dyed by hand, giving each piece its unique and one-of-a-kind texture.
For the buttons, we adopted a minimal original button crafted by removing the lettering of 'US ARMY.'
