Designed based on the brown denim pants that originated from the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps), these pants are a rare product that have seen almost no design changes for about 30 years, set against a backdrop of tumultuous times such as wars and the Great Depression.
It is believed that the brown dye used at the time was derived from logwood due to the shortage of indigo and chemical dyes during World War I.
Inspired by this historical background, these pants are carefully garment dyed one by one using Yakusugi, a natural dye from Japan, and mud.
Yakusugi is an extremely rare resource now prohibited from logging, and serves as a special dye with the essence of trees over 1000 years old condensed into it.
Like mud dyeing, each pair is dyed entirely by hand, giving it a unique texture that sets it apart from others.
The buttons feature a minimalist original design made without the US ARMY inscription.
