The Lot103 pullover work shirt is based on a design that features an open front arrangement. It has a small collar with a chin strap, common in the 1930s, along with aluminum buttons and a chest pocket, redesigned for modern use. The fabric features linen in the warp and silk nep in the weft, aiming for a texture that is both high-quality and looks worn. The mud dye is applied through garment dyeing, allowing for variations in color and texture at the seams and in the fabric itself. The different textures of linen and silk nep produce differences in how the dye absorbs, resulting in a solid color with depth.
As it is worn and washed, the color and texture will change, making this piece a work shirt that retains its practicality while also gaining character over time.
