Redesigned based on the caps traditionally worn by the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) during winter, this cap features an adjustable volume for a more comfortable fit. It has a 2-way design with flaps to protect against rain and wind. While there are models similar to Filson's hats, this version utilizes a pattern that is easier to sew. It is speculated that the patterns and sewing techniques were designed to meet the demands of the time more efficiently. The exterior is made of high-density shuttle-woven cotton canvas, while the interior features moleskin fabric, finished with garment dye.
