High Density Rayon / Over Print
A limited design created by Vince Ray for Star of Hollywood. The theme for this collection is the “King Cobra,” inspired by the year of the snake in 2025. This is the largest venomous snake in the world, often exceeding 5m in length, and earns the title “KING” due to its predatory behavior towards other snakes. To highlight Vince Ray's dynamic original artwork, the background is intentionally kept in a light hue, with the words “KING” and “COBRA” intertwined among the motifs, evoking a classic aloha shirt design.
STAR OF HOLLYWOOD × VINCE RAY
Vince Ray is a globally recognized artist known for his work on album covers for notable bands like the Stray Cats, as well as for the art surrounding major events such as VIVA LAS VEGAS. This piece represents a conceptual collaboration, imagining what it would be like if Star of Hollywood had commissioned him for textile design during its heyday. A modern collaboration model from Star of Hollywood, celebrated for making a sensation with unique shirts in the 1950s.
