This original denim fabric is made by collecting only the finest Supima cotton from the ultra-long cotton that falls off during the process of removing short fibers and fluff for a more uniform yarn, mixed with regular Supima cotton. The 11.5-ounce selvedge denim woven with warp yarn number 7 and weft yarn number 9 on a shuttle loom features the unique texture and feel characteristic of Supima cotton, with noticeable irregularities and neps from the removed cotton. Just like vintage denim, it is cut, sewn, and processed in its raw state (fabric as woven), resulting in a unique texture and atmosphere enhanced by diagonal slant and twist similar to vintage denim.

The jacket, based on 1940s vintage (commonly known as the 1st model), is equipped with hand-warm pockets at the waist and uses the brand's original tack buttons. It incorporates details like the rare split back seam that is usually only found in larger sizes in vintage items, into all sizes. The drastic contrast in shades and the three-dimensional aging process represent the time-worn changes as if it has been grown from a rigid state.
