This original denim fabric is made by collecting only the highest quality Supima cotton from the extra-long cotton that falls off during the process of shredding short fibers and fuzz to create more uniform yarn, mixing it with regular Supima cotton. The 11.5-ounce selvedge denim, woven with warp yarn 7 and weft yarn × 9, features a unique unevenness and neppiness associated with fallen cotton and has exceptional smoothness and texture characteristic of Supima cotton.
This season’s design is based on a 1950s vintage denim jacket, equipped with practical hand warmer pockets. Details like using selvedge for the body facing follow the sewing specifications of vintage denim jackets. The split back detail, which is typically found in larger sizes of vintage pieces, is incorporated into all sizes. The sleeve cuffs are designed with two buttons 2 to allow for adjustable openings. This model is based on vintage aging, featuring color fading and paint processing.
