GIFT SHOP CAP (COTTON)

A 6P cap created based on a souvenir cap found by chance at a vintage shop. The size can be adjusted with a belt at the back. Fabrics

MATERIAL: COTTON 100%

This is an original material woven at a historic textile factory in the Bishu region using an old-fashioned loom.
It is a super high-density cotton gabardine made with 20/1 SUPER ZERO yarn for both warp and weft. By using SUPER ZERO yarn, despite being a super high-density fabric, it is finished in a way that the yarn is almost untwisted, resulting in a fabric that is not overly stiff while retaining the firmness derived from high density, is soft, contains more air, and is light and voluminous.

Also, as a characteristic of the texture, it is finished with a dry touch reminiscent of vintage, which is obtained as a by-product of degreasing during the process of untwisting the yarn by soaking it in hot water for an extended period of time.
With each wear and wash, the untwisted yarn becomes further loosened, allowing you to enjoy vintage-like changes over time.

SUPER ZERO yarn: It combines cotton yarn twisted to the left with water-soluble yarn and twists them strongly in the opposite direction. After weaving, it is treated with hot water, which dissolves only the water-soluble yarn.
As the water-soluble yarn dissolves, the cotton yarn attempts to return to its original direction and expands greatly. Air enters the spaces of the released cotton yarn, resulting in yarn that maintains a fluffy texture rich in water absorption.
