Our latest project here at Sillage takes another step in the right direction as we shift our focus more and more to incorporate the concepts of sustainability and up-cycling into our core beliefs.
After carefully sourcing a small collection of pieces, we cut the uniforms into triangle patches and then sewed them together to create sheets of patchwork fabric.

From there, we then had our artisans in Tokyo re-work the patchwork sheets by hand and had them cut, assemble, stitch, and sew the different sections of the sheets together. Afterward, the clothes were then sent to our factory in Okayama for the buttoning process.

The Circular Short Pants feature the same details and functions as our classic Circular Pants, including a round and loose fit, 2 tucks sides, waist rubber, doubled drawcords, and shell buttons.

No two jackets and pants are the same, and each one will be numbered by hand by a good friend of the brand Naoyuki Yoda.

This is a product made through the process of up-cycling used/vintage fabrics. Because of the nature of used/vintage fabrics, some pieces may show signs of fraying, dirt, scratches, fading, etc. Please be aware of this before you purchase anything, thank you.

Sillage Artisanal Collection

As part of our sustainable initiatives, Sillage presents the new "Artisanal Collection." This collection disassembles old, used clothing into triangular pieces, which are randomly stitched together into large fabric sheets. Each sheet is then cut and sewn according to pattern specifications. A single artisan manages the entire process, and finally, an artist hand-paints a unique number on each item. This results in every piece having a distinct expression, adding new value to the used material.

This time, we are remaking shirts made of vintage fake suede from America. The “CIRCULAR” pants are representative of Sillage, featuring a very wide silhouette that draws a circular shape. Despite their wide and relaxed fit, the drape created by the drastic taper gives these pants a unique beauty. Iconic double drawcords with stoppers enhance ease of wear. This version is a shorts type. Please note that this is a product made from processed vintage clothing. We ask for your understanding regarding any fraying, dirt, scratches, etc., prior to purchase.
