Our latest project here at Sillage takes another step in the right direction as we shift our focus more and more to incorporate the concepts of sustainability and up-cycling into our core beliefs.
After carefully sourcing a small collection of pieces, we cut the uniforms into triangle patches and then sewed them together to create sheets of patchwork fabric.
From there, we then had our artisans in Tokyo re-work the patchwork sheets by hand and had them cut, assemble, stitch, and sew the different sections of the sheet together. Afterward, the clothes were then sent to our factory in Okayama for the buttoning process.

Our new “Blazer Jacket” offers a formal yet sporty look, incorporating elements from both our Veste Two Button and Essential Three Pocket Jacket. It features raglan sleeves and 3 large patch pockets on the front, complemented by beautiful lining throughout the back and sleeves.

The lining adds a padded thickness to the jacket, giving it an elegant “preppy” look, while the three patch pockets evoke the character of a work jacket. The Blazer also showcases two beautiful horn buttons on the front below the lapels, with an additional horn button at the top of the lapels that transforms the jacket's appearance when buttoned all the way up.

Note: About the vintage/antique patchwork fabric - certain parts of the fabric may have stains, scratches, and frayed threads, so please keep this in mind when purchasing this piece.

Sillage presents a new proposal as part of our sustainability efforts: the “Artisanal Collection.” This collection involves deconstructing old used clothing into triangular pieces, which are then randomly sewn together to create a large fabric. Each piece is cut and sewn according to patterns by a single artisan, with a final artist hand-painting and numbering each item, making every piece unique. This process adds significant value and redefines the worth of used materials.

Based on the 2BJK design, it features back and sleeve linings for a more elegant finish.

All pockets have been changed to patch pockets, resulting in a jacket with a more preppy impression.
Depending on the choice of pants, it can be styled as a set-up, allowing for varied silhouettes.
This series is designed to be worn throughout all seasons.

Pair it with Sillage's denim or Oxford shirts for a wide preppy style.

Each piece features hand-drawn numbering by artist Yoda.
