Our latest project here at Sillage takes another step in the right direction as we shift our focus more and more to incorporate the concepts of sustainability and up-cycling into our core beliefs.
After carefully sourcing a small collection of pieces, we cut the uniforms into triangle patches and then sewed them together to create sheets of patchwork fabric.
From there, we then had our artisans in Tokyo re-work the patchwork sheets by hand and had them cut, assemble, stitch, and sew the different sections of the sheet together. Afterward, the clothes were then sent to our factory in Okayama for the buttoning process.
Our new “Blazer Jacket” carries the formal, yet sporty look of our Veste Two Button, while also carrying some of the DNA of our Essential Three Pocket Jacket – it has raglan sleeves, 3 large patch pockets on the front, with beautiful lining all along the back/sleeves.
We feel that the lining adds a padded thickness to the jacket, allowing it to give off a more elegant “preppy” look, while the three patch pockets on the front are almost reminiscent of a work jacket. The Blazer also features two beautiful horn buttons on the front below the lapels, with an extra horn button at the very top of the lapels that changes the look of the jacket entirely when buttoned all the way up.
*** About the vintage/antique patchwork fabric, certain parts of the fabric will have stains, scratches, and frayed threads – please keep this in mind when purchasing this piece.

Refund Policies
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are not accepted for overseas orders due to customer preferences, including incorrect sizing or personal interpretation of the product.
An exchange or refund will be offered only if the item received is incorrect or has a defect caused by us.
Please contact us within 3 days of delivery, including your order number and a description of the issue. Approved cases will have return shipping covered by us.
Requests for defective item exchanges must be submitted within 5 days of delivery based on the tracking record. Returns will not be accepted without prior email approval.
