Crafted from deadstock Bingo Kasuri, a historic indigo dyed cotton woven in Fukuyama, Hiroshima since the late Edo period. Known for its soft hand, durability, and quiet geometric patterns such as igeta lattice, stripes, and checks, Bingo Kasuri reflects over 150 years of Japanese textile craftsmanship. A timeless fabric where tradition meets a more contemporary expression.

This deadstock fabric series is made from deadstock materials found in defunct fabric factories across Japan. We pick interesting fabrics from renowned brands from the 80s to around 2000, including various prototypes.

This collection features Bingo Kasuri, one of Japan's three major Kasuri textiles produced around Fukuyama, Hiroshima since the late Edo period. Bingo Kasuri is known for its durable and soft texture made from indigo-dyed cotton yarn, and was registered as a traditional craftwork of Hiroshima in 1992. It is characterized by distinctive igeta patterns, stripes, and checks, and modern garments and denim are also made using this traditional technique.

The shirt has been adjusted with a more classic length and hem while maintaining its wide silhouette.
