A deadstock fabric series that sources unused materials from shuttered fabric mills across Japan. From iconic brands of the '80s through the early 2000s, we seek out unique and compelling textiles, no matter where they come from.
This time, we are working with deadstock fabrics from Watahiko Tex, a historic mill that produced high quality textiles for 180 years. Although the company sadly closed in 2023, we have carefully selected some of their beautiful wool fabrics for this release.
The Circular Pants have become one of Sillage's most iconic designs, featuring adjustable double drawcords at the waist, two patch pockets at the back, and shell buttons. The Circular Pants are the roundest and widest in Sillage’s wardrobe.

The deadstock fabric series finds deadstock fabrics from shuttered fabric mills across Japan, creating products from these materials. We pick up interesting textiles from famous brands from the '80s to around 2000, including sample runs.
This time, we present a deadstock fabric from the 90s developed by the British company Moon for Paul Smith.
These fabrics are rare, have a lot of character, and are beautiful.
The Baggy Trousers feature a super wide waist with double tucks and an elastic waistband or drawcord, designed as easy pants that taper towards the hem. While the silhouette is relaxed overall, the beautiful tapered line and drape of the tropical wool create a clean silhouette, making them a great choice for those who prefer less volume in their bottoms.
