The newly developed Boa material is made from intermediate carbon fiber, a byproduct of the process to create carbon fiber used in aircraft manufacturing.
By combining the far-infrared effects and flame resistance of carbon with traditional modacrylic, we have created a warmer and more high-performance product.
Its flame resistance meets the CPAI-84 certification level, a standard for tents in the USA.

The Boa material uses Kanekalon Protex, which has self-extinguishing properties that immediately stop burning when moved away from a flame source.
Unlike flame-retardant fibers treated after production, this flame resistance does not diminish or disappear with washing.
Additionally, rather than melting when burned, it carbonizes. The carbonized areas prevent the spread of flames, extinguishing rapidly when the flame source is removed.
The texture is light, warm, and highly elastic, featuring a unique fiber shape that contributes to a soft and flexible feel. It is less likely to generate unpleasant static electricity common with polyester materials. Furthermore, it absorbs infrared radiation and generates heat, maintaining warmth once heated by a campfire or similar source.

The texture is light, warm, elastic, and features a soft and supple feel due to its unique fiber shape. It is less likely to generate unpleasant static electricity common with polyester materials with good skin feel. Furthermore, it has a function that absorbs infrared rays and generates heat, which allows it to retain warmth once it becomes warm from heat sources like campfires.
