Inspired by the classic baseball jacket familiar to American soldiers, the Sukajan was born in Japan. This unique model reimagines the Sukajan by incorporating its signature oriental embroidery into a baseball jacket. In addition to the chain embroidery seen on traditional baseball jackets, it features a roaring tiger depicted with ancient Japanese horizontal embroidery techniques. The beautiful striped pattern of this tiger design is a work created by skilled artisans in the mid-1950s. The foundation of the Sukajan, known for its delicate embroidery and craftsmanship, is typically made from acetate or velveteen materials, but by applying the embroidery to warm and subdued wool melton, it offers a distinctive atmosphere. WHITESVILLE "WOOL MELTON AWARD JACKET" The Whitesville Award Jacket features a highly insulated 30-ounce wool melton body, paired with American steer hide sleeves that show attractive aging over time. The lining is made of rayon-cotton quilted material, offering excellent warmth retention, ease of sleeve insertion, and a comfortable wearing experience.
