This vintage-inspired material uses nylon polyester split yarn in the warp and nylon yarn in the weft, creating a unique texture with a wrinkled appearance due to high shrinkage of the nylon side, while expressing a soft feel reminiscent of chambray.
Lightweight and functional, this jacket updates the one worn by the United States Air Force's AIR PLANE GENERAL. The distinctive chest flap pocket, designed at an angle for easy access, retains its original design, while the hem features a large flap pocket inspired by hunting jackets, allowing for additional storage. Various interior pockets are designed to accommodate tackle boxes, lure cases, and mobile devices, making this jacket surprisingly spacious. A rod holder has been added for fishing convenience. The forward-angled sleeves, a military detail, serve as a design accent, with action pleats and adjustable cuffs to enhance mobility and eliminate bulk around the wrists. The mesh lining ensures comfort without a clammy feel during wear.
