I thought the length might be long when I saw the try-on picture, so I didn't buy it, but I ended up purchasing it after receiving an email about the price drop and free shipping.
Height 170, waist 79, purchased size S.
The waist is just right with my fingers fitting in, which is around 29 inches in jeans size.
The length was slightly long, so I had it hemmed, but the silhouette is a beautifully fitting pant, so it looks nice even rolled up.
The downside is that the pockets on both sides are shallow like women's pants, so it might be tight to sit with a smartphone in them.
The fabric is on the thinner side, seems suitable from spring to autumn, but this season, if you're fine with chinos or slacks, it should be no problem.

Compared to straight wide pants, this has a cleaner silhouette, making it easy to style, which is good! After some hesitation, I bought a size L, but there was quite a bit of room in the waist, so I might have done better to go down a size. I liked the soft fabric that has the right thickness and is both comfortable to wear and retains the original denim texture.
