Our second project with New Zealand artist Aaron Glasson continues to explore his unique visual language. Rooted in geometry and shaped by the vibrant colors of the landscapes and environments around him, his work reflects a deep connection to nature.

アーロン・グラッソン（1983年、オークランド生まれ）との2回目のコラボレーション

アーロンは、ニュージーランド出身のマルチディシプリナリー・アーティストです。2005年にオークランド工科大学で美術とデザインの学士号を取得して以来、世界各地で展覧会やパブリックアートを手がけてきました。その多岐にわたる作品は、参加型インスタレーション、絵画、ドローイング、彫刻、建築、アッサンブラージュ、壁画、映像など多様な領域に及びます。幅広いメディアを扱いながらも、グラッソンは一貫した抽象的な視覚言語を築き上げています。幾何学を基盤としつつ、自然界の現象や内面的な探究から着想を得た彼の絵画は、ミクロとマクロ双方の環境へのまなざしを提示します。こうしたフォルムは、大規模なサイトスペシフィック・インスタレーションへと展開し、観客の参加を促す体験を生み出すとともに、従来の枠を超えて芸術の実用的可能性を探る機能的なオブジェクトへと発展しています。彼の実践の中心にあるのは「生態系」への探究であり、変化し続ける人間と自然との関係性に対する批評です。多様な表現を通じ、詩的でありながら参加型であり、そして環境への意識を呼び起こす作品世界を展開しています。
