The surface and inside have a silky texture and shine. It's a splendid MA-1 that exudes luxury (I'm praising it, but does it sound like I'm criticizing it because it's military?).
I thought about wearing it while riding a motorcycle, but I find myself asking, 'Hmm, isn't this too good for a motorcycle?' That’s how wonderful the finish is. The length doesn't drop awkwardly, and the wide ribbing is the best. Just as I imagined. It will probably look like the product photos when worn. While military brands (with the red tags) are dominating the market, I applaud the quality achieved at this price point. As mentioned in other reviews, I would love to have an additional reflective patch.
