The classic T.T sweat 603 is garment-dyed with persimmon tannin, which has been used since ancient times, and features a marbled pattern resembling tree rings, captured one point at a time from the water's surface. The marbling technique originates from a game in the Heian period, and it is originally a method of transferring ink from the water's surface onto washi paper and other materials. By gradually dropping ink into the center of the circle over time, concentric circles with irregularities resembling tree rings are slowly formed on the water's surface. Each jacket is floated on that water surface to capture the concentric circles. The same pattern will never appear again due to subtle movements of the wind. By leaving the final touches to nature, this design encompasses the beauty of nature and the time it takes to form circles that cannot be controlled by human hands.
