The T-shirt is one of the garments that symbolize America and has a background as it was originally developed as an undergarment to be worn under uniforms and military clothing. This simple garment embodies America's rational approach to manufacturing.
It features a structure that is free of excess, with fabric knitted in a tube shape called round body, equipped with holes for the neck and arms, and sleeves. While it may look like modern everyday wear, its nature is completely different. The design faithfully reproduces the elements of the original design, such as the lack of shoulder slope, a neckline similar to a boat neck, and a neck rib that is double-stitched to prevent stretching.
This round body plain fabric is slowly knitted over time using existing吊り編み機 (Tsunami knitting machines).
The suspended knitting machine was brought to Japan during the Taisho era and is currently operational only in Wakayama Prefecture, making it the only one in the world. It is an extremely inefficient machine that can only knit one meter per hour, but in return, the fabric has a suitable unevenness and rich texture, as if it contains air. By using USA cotton for the material, it has been finished into a fabric with a dry texture and unique feel. YAKUSUGI, SAKURA, MUD DYED BROWN, and USUZUMI are all carefully dyed by hand, one by one, creating unique expressions with none being exactly the same.

Returns, refunds, and exchanges are not accepted for overseas orders unless the customer receives an incorrect item due to our fulfillment error.
