There was a fabric called moleskin in France before the 1950s. After the 1950s, moleskin fabrics became difficult to mass-produce and their structures were simplified. It was reproduced with organically grown American Supima cotton.
The structure of a 1910s moleskin jacket was analyzed and produced on an old-style power loom. Both sides are needle-fabric raised, giving the material a warmer feel.
The shawl collar, a symbolic design of this season, was expressed in a form more similar to the Japanese kimono.
In Takahashi's mind, there must be a considerable match with the kimono design. All the pieces are cut in a straight line, and the beautiful shape is created by the flat structure. And it is something that can be passed down from generation to generation. The straight sewing and flat pattern simplified the process. The lining is made of Lot.105 shirt fabric.

Returns & Exchanges
