Inspired by the world, this collection pays homage to the elite soldiers of Nepal with our Gurkha trousers.
Established in 1815, the Brigade of Gurkhas, known for their remarkable bravery, inspired these military pants that echo the respected style of the Gurkha soldiers.
The Sillage Gurkha trousers/shorts for our SS23 collection feature a beautiful wide and straight cut. While not designed for combat, they retain key elements of their inspiration, including traditional double pleating and the iconic high, cummerbund-style waistband.
The versatile cummerbund-style waistband can be folded down for a relaxed silhouette in warmer weather, allowing customization of the trousers/shorts length. A drawstring cord provides an easily adjustable “one-size-fits-all” waistband, complemented by a button-fastening tab at the hem to further personalize the silhouette.
For styling, we recommend pairing these trousers/shorts with a wide-fitting shirt tucked in for an elegant Spring/Summer look.
