The Sugar Cane Standard Denim Work Shirt is a classic piece that traces its lineage back to the "MS-371" introduced in 1992. The current model, "SC27852," has been part of the collection since 2018, undergoing minor updates to its fabric, details, and sizing.
This work shirt is inspired by the American golden age of the 1950s, crafted from 100% cotton indigo yarn, dyed with rope dyeing, and woven into 9-ounce selvedge denim using power looms. It features durable three-needle chain stitching, flap pockets, and sturdy urea buttons.
Detailed Features- The collar spacing has been slightly adjusted between the first and second buttons to prevent excessive opening.
- Robust urea cat-eye buttons are used, designed to withstand washing and ironing.
- Large chest pockets, double-stitched for durability, come equipped with flaps that have buttons to secure their contents.
- The left flap features a pen slot for convenience.
- Reinforced with a double yoke for added strength, some sewing points even feature rolled seams with up to 10 layers of fabric.
- The sleeve cuffs are made from a single layer for a clean and tear-resistant finish.
