60'S XX Straight Denim Pants

The world's most high-end ultra-long cotton, the West Indian Sea Island Cotton, is often referred to as the 'gem of fibers.' This selvedge denim, crafted using vintage techniques, boasts a rich texture and depth due to its rarity and luxurious material. With a commitment to traditional stitching, it is finished as straight pants inspired by 1960s designs.
Even in its non-washed state, it offers a soft feel for great comfort, and with wear and washing, you can enjoy the deep color variations that develop over time.

Utilizing 100% West Indian Sea Island Cotton, regarded as the finest cotton in the world, we incorporated waste cotton generated during spinning to replicate the natural spinning irregularities and neppy feel of vintage denim from 1922. The warp threads are indigo rope-dyed and are finished in a darker shade than the indigo used at the time due to the excellent dyeing properties of the West Indian Sea Island Cotton. Woven on a vintage power loom (shuttle loom), this denim has a firm yet soft texture. It retains the same texture as in 1922, allowing you to experience the atmosphere of period fluffiness in denim.

*WEST INDIAN SEA ISLAND COTTON
West Indian Sea Island Cotton is an extremely rare cotton harvested at less than 0.001% of all cotton worldwide. Its rarity comes from being able to cultivate it only in limited areas of the West Indies (Caribbean) region, combined with its long fiber length and fineness that have made it a luxury item favored by the British. From the late 16th century to about 200 years, its export from Britain to other countries was prohibited. In 1975, Japan acquired the rights to production and purchase from Britain, leading to its ongoing development to this day.
