The non-wash fabric is soft to the touch and offers comfort, while repeated wear and washing allow for enjoyable depth of color and aging.

Made entirely from the finest West Indian Sea Island Cotton, this denim recreates the natural spinning variations and neppiness of 1922 vintage denim by including falling cotton generated during spinning. The warp yarn is indigo rope-dyed, but due to the dyeing quality of West Indian Sea Island Cotton, it is finished in a darker shade than the indigos of that time. Woven slowly and powerfully on a vintage power loom (shuttle loom), it maintains a soft feel while having core stability, allowing you to enjoy the texture of the fuzzy denim of 1922.

West Indian Sea Island Cotton is an extremely rare cotton, harvested at less than 0.001% of the world's cotton. This cotton, grown only in a limited region of the West Indies (Caribbean Sea), is known for its rarity, with a long history of being a luxury item to supply the British from the late 16th century until approximately 200 years, during which time exports to other countries were prohibited. In 1975, Japan acquired rights to production and procurement from the UK, leading to ongoing developments to this day.
