This shirt jacket is based on a classic work jacket. It incorporates just the right amount of shirt details, resulting in a light outerwear that can be easily layered. It features a somewhat ambiguous balance between a shirt and a work jacket. The front pockets and chest pockets are characteristic of workwear practicality.

Fabrics

MATERIAL: LINEN 40% RAMIE 30% COTTON 30%

This is an original fabric woven using an old-fashioned loom at a historic fabric shop in the Bishu region.
The warp yarn is made of 120/2 cotton and compact 12/3 cotton open-end. The weft yarn uses 60/1 ramie and 44/1 linen, creating a plain yet impactful classic stripe pattern fabric.
By using two types of cotton yarns with a larger count for the warp, a three-dimensional striped pattern is woven while maintaining a plain weave structure.
The weft yarn alternates between ramie and linen, giving just the right amount of firmness and a nice texture with yarn irregularities.
Also, due to being woven at a high density limit, it results in a durable fabric that, despite its delicate appearance, is robust.
With repeated wear, the stiffness of the linen loosens, developing a texture reminiscent of antiques.
